All in all, there are really an infinite number of ways to enjoy yourself in Lake Tahoe. You can take cruises and tours, go skiing or snowboarding, river rafting, snowmobiling, play golf, do all sorts of water sports, go biking, shop, enjoy casinos, go horseback riding—all in some of the most beautiful settings you could ask for. If you plan to get married there, then you may wish to consider this lake tahoe wedding planner while you are there. This wedding planner can take good care of you during your stay in Lake Tahoe overall and help in a Maui honeymoon too if that is your kick.
There are an almost infinite number of places to go for fun in Lake Tahoe. Try Chambers Beach, just one mile south of Homewood on Hwy. 89. This is a great beach to swim, soak up the sun, relax with the kids, and have a picnic. The place also has some super fine real estate as well.
Commons Beach Park is really fun; it lies on four-acres in downtown Tahoe City, on the shores of Lake Tahoe. You can do all the same things as you can do at Chambers Park, but it also has two children's playgrounds located within a large lakefront lawn area, rest rooms & barbecue grills. In the summer see a fee movie every Wednesday at dusk. How fun is that? Also, there are free summer music concerts Sundays at 4 PM, and a farmers market on Thursdays in summer from 8 AM 1 PM.
Moon Dunes Beach is a lovely, secluded beach that sits like a hidden gem back off the road, at Lake Tahoe's northern rim. There is a perfect little short, scenic hike along a small creek for beach access. This spot suits me, an enjoyable, uncrowded swim and sun spot. It has portable restrooms provided – don’t forget to bring your own water and lunch. It’s near Pino Grande Avenue in Tahoe Vista. Following your wedding you may wish to go on your honeymoon to Maui and perhaps even purchase some Maui real estate if that is your thing. If so then this firm is highly recommended for Maui real estate.
Tahoe Vista Regional Park; for a small fee you get nice parking, clean bathrooms and a variety of recreational activities, such as hiking, tennis racket, baseball, handball, soccer gear, Frisbee, golf, biking, and even a great playground for the kids. Talk about all-inclusive! Spend the day, here.
